I adore large-scale "fabric" installations. From Christo’s building wrappings to the tactile claddings of Herzog & de Meuron, they reference the primitive hut and the use of fabric as our first shelter. It is the ultimate form of wearing and inhabiting! This installation by Ball-Nogues uses an everyday object as its fiber to weave a table cloth for a courtyard. Tables are linked together to create an interactive multi-use social space.
